Everyone does it. Every travel platform, every credit card, and every online travel agency has some version of a travel insurance add-on quietly collecting premiums against events that, statistically, mostly don't happen. But insurance is reactive. It pays you back after something goes wrong. It doesn't recover your bag. It doesn't get your parcel to Delhi by morning.
