Gone are the days when government sector and private companies operated as sworn enemies. Today the private player requires the might of the government enterprise for scale. At the same time a private player brings aggressive pace to the game. We are after all in the express delivery business and bound to be quick.

One of the ParcelGo founders' is a 4th generation player in the logistics segment, as a family they complete 100 years in Logistics in 2029. A growing business with global expansion ambition requires operational strength and smooth flight operations both of which the India Post readily offers. 

ParcelGo is committed to offer Global Express Delivery services to the Indian business owners, small and big. A truly Indian company that has worldwide footprint. India Post has the vision to offer international trade opportunities to Indian businesses. This is where our goals align. As a private player and a government entity operating in the same domain we have shared values. 

The biggest advantage India Post has is that it is India Post. International shipping is tricky business and there can be a lot of unforeseen scenarios between the pick up of the package and the last mile delivery. One is dealing with customs in India as well the border control and authorities on foreign soil. Anybody with an iota of experience of dealing with government agencies will tell you, they always treat their own kind better, with respect and without suspicion. 

This is to the advantage of a private Global Player like ParcelGo since we requires agencies both in India and outside to be kind and supportive. Although one is always circumspect when dealing with the Indian government, things are changing rapidly and for good. 

In my recent interaction with the Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra Shri Amitabh Singh and his deputy I found them be dynamic and with a vision for the greater good. Their team on ground is young and energetic and ever so willing to execute the ideas. This is a very potent combination. 

This gave us the confidence to start engaging with India Post professionally. And they haven't let us down. There are bound to be delays in logistics, what matters is the proactive customer support in times of a problem and responding promptly and we found the team at IBC Mumbai airport to be efficient and warm.
